The To Do List is such a smart, funny film, with an incredible cast (including the brilliant Aubrey Plaza.)
It’s written AND directed by Maggie Carey, and I so appreciate her treatment of the female characters. They get the first rate comedic lines, physical action sequences and varied relationships that they deserve. I wish this happened more in comedy films! So big thank you to Maggie.
(And unsurprisingly, Maggie’s list of excellent shows that she has written for, directed/and or produced is long! She is clearly awesome.)
