I hardly ever watch films more than once. But this one is so delightful that I have watched it twice. The performances of Will Ferrell and Maggie Gyllenhaal are so well pitched – funny, human, and totally believable. Their relationship has a sweet delicacy to it, that keeps things grounded, even when there are some fun meta constructs at play. (And Will Ferrell’s singing is adorable.)
